Facilities Management ensures the Enterprise wide physical assets, equipment, facilities and infrastructure are efficiently and effectively operated and maintained.  This includes the identification, management and utilization of property and buildings through implementation of management systems that record and track assets to maximize value for money.


The Warehouse Associate carries out any tasks in relation to receiving, storing, picking and dispatching of clinical and non-clinical supplies in the warehouse. Depending on operational requirements the Associate – Warehouse can be assigned to any of the teams operating in the warehouse. 


  • Carries out any tasks in the process of receiving, putting away, picking,  issuing and dispatching of items

  • Checks and reconciles all incoming and outgoing paperwork for physical goods

  • Labels incoming and outgoing consignments correctly with all relevant information

  • Operates any electronic warehousing equipment, such as hand-held terminals, computers etc. according to established procedures

  • Ensures accurate data entry in the warehouse computer system

  • Ensures all items are picked according to their issuing Unit of Measure (UOM)

  • Ensures all hazardous goods are accompanied by the correct documentation according to legal requirements and Health & Safety requirements

  • Conducts cycle counting and random stock takes as required

  • Checks items for damage and expiry date and removes damaged/expired stock to quarantine area as required

  • Ensures safe handling of dangerous goods

  • Operates fork lift trucks and other mechanical warehousing equipment as and when required, provided adequate training is received and any required certificates for safely operating the equipment are current

  • Provides excellent customer service

  • Keeps the warehouse clean and tidy and a safe place to work at any time

  • Reports any incidents related to health, safety, damage and disputes

  • Complies with policies, procedures and standards in warehouse operations

  • Adheres to Sidra’s standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies


In view of the evolving needs and opportunities within Sidra during this pre-operational phase, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationships may vary.



  • Diploma or associate Degree in a related field

  • 2+ years warehouse experience 

  • Demonstrated well developed written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated attention to details and good planning skills.

  • Demonstrated familiarity in working with computer terminals and bar code scanners

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

  • Fluency in written and spoken English


  • Experience of Medical Warehouse environment or similar.

  • Experience of automated warehouse equipment

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems

  • ERP and Warehouse management solutions experience

  • Proficiency in safely operating fork lift trucks and other warehousing equipment
