Once fully operational by mid-2018, Sidra Medicine will handle 275,000 outpatient appointments, 11,000 procedures, 100,000 emergency attendances and deliver over 9,000 babies per year, adding capacity to a rapidly growing population and delivering world-class specialist care.

The hospital will include 10 operating theatres, 400 beds, 100 percent single rooms with a private bathroom, a birthing center and an emergency department.

Department: The Human Resources Division is made up of a number of complementary departments and strives to be recognized for its operational excellence and as a strategic business partner in the achievement of Sidra’s vision and mission and within its stated values.  As part of this the Talent Acquisition Division focuses on finding and acquiring the right person with the right competencies and attributes for the right job at the right time.
JOB SUMMARY: The Coordinator - Onboarding and Relocation ensures that new employees receive a five star experience during their relocation and transition into Sidra and Qatar. He/she acts as a key HR contact point with new employees providing information, guidance and the required support to ensure a smooth arrival and/or transition for both the employee and his/her family.
  • Delivers a professional, welcoming point of contact to new employees by providing them with prompt and accurate support during the relocation/local hire process.
  • Coordinates all elements of the Sidra’s onboarding/orientation program/s including scheduling meetings, document preparations, follow up calls, space booking, meet and greet and gathering information/data.
  • Advises new employees on HR policies and procedures, as required, with regards to relocation, schooling, accommodation, flights, housing, etc.
  • Responds to requests for information from new employees within 24 hours.
  • Resolves problems as they arise and ensures that all staff in the Relocation team and internal partner departments are updated in a timely fashion.
  • Provides a professional and courteous meet and greet and/or tour service as and when required.
  • Ensures that accurate records are maintained for all relocation activity in line with the department’s standard operating procedures.
  • Contributes to the management of the electronic filing system of Relocation documents on the shared folder and Sidra portal (where necessary).
  • Maintains confidentiality of employees and updates data and records for all onboarding activities and contributes to the management of the electronic/paper filing of onboarding documents.
  • Prepares e-mails, memos, letters and other documents as required.
  • Provides support to the Lead with the preparation of reports related to relocation activity.
  • Provides logistical support to the Orientation Program Facilitators prior to the delivery of the pre-commissioning orientation program.
  • Identifies and communicates opportunities for improvement to processes within the Onboarding unit.
  • Adheres to Sidra’s standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies


In view of the evolving needs and opportunities within Sidra during this pre-operational phase, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationships may vary.





  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field



  • 2+ years in a coordinator role in HR/Relocation, Hospitality or in any other relevant support function.
