Job Summary:

The Director – Reproductive Medicine and Gynecology works with the Executive Director of Operations, Department Chair, Division Chiefs, Executives and Allied Health leadership in the Clinical Management Group to ensure the strategic and operational goals are realized. The Director is a key member of the leadership team and a champion of the CMG and Divisional goals and KPIs. This leader will empower the team to make evidence-based decisions at a high level. The Director will ensure safe patient care is delivered while ensuring the CMG provides value to the organization. The Director will challenge the CMG to reach beyond business as usual by encouraging innovative avenues to business growth in the Division.

The Director maximizes operational efficiencies of Sidra  by leveraging knowledge and feedback from centrally provided functional areas including Finance, IT, HR, Communications, and Support Services and translating this to opportunities. The Director provides business analytics for the Division including oversight of the fiscal budget, business modeling, cost and staff projections, market analysis, and identifying potential strategic partners and growth opportunities.  The Director works on assignments by prioritizing and collaborating with the Leadership. The Director will collaborate with all departments and services within the organization to achieve the goals and objectives of the Sidra.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

 

    • Assists with the development and articulates the goals of the Division

    • Is a champion of service excellence by modeling the values of Sidra

    • Leads and/or supports patient experience initiatives

    • Responsible for the collection, analysis and presentation of monthly performance data (patient satisfaction, financial, HR and volume metrics) to the CMG

    • Working with the Executive Director of Finance, assists with the development of short and long-term budget forecasting and modeling for the Division

    • Creates and monitors strategic relationships and alliances as well as systems, processes and standards to achieve desired fiscal and business development outcomes in collaboration with leadership and the Network and Outreach Specialist

    • Leads continuous improvement efforts that promote increased patient satisfaction, revenue enhancement and cost efficiency

    • Monitors and analyses the financial dashboard with identification of budgetary deviation with real time intervention and/or recommendations on high impact interventions to leadership to ensure the Division remains budget neutral

    • Responsible for effective clinical operations of each Division in the CMG

    • Responds in real time to threats that affect the fiscal solvency of the Division

    • Represents Sidra on all financial, business, human resources, IT and facilities matters by acting as the point of reference  

    • Works with the Executive Director of HR and our HR partners to ensure the Division adheres a rounded staffing model based upon fair market salaries of the employees along with ensuring salary equity among the staff

    • Workis with physician and nursing leadership, ensures maximum resource utilization in the Division

    • Coordinates the execution of initiatives spearheaded by Sidra and/or the CMG

    • Analyzes market data and identifies business growth and development opportunities on behalf of the CMG

    • Identifies and analyzes the potential opportunity costs and benefits related to strategic partnerships on behalf of Sidra

    • Assists in contractual engagement, and the subsequent monitoring and reporting of outcomes related to Sidra partnerships

    • Monitors and controls contract administration, ensuring that business aspects of contracts are conducted according to good business practices and that Sidra’s requirements are fulfilled

    • Aids in effective decision making by identifying and utilizing best practices to accommodate and facilitate service line operations, in accordance with Sidra policies and procedures 

    • Facilitates information flow within Sidra and to external business units to ensure effective communication and the dissemination/feedback of workplace information

    • Works collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff across the organization

    • Manages highly sensitive and confidential information and matters professionally

    • Adheres to Sidra’s standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies

    • Adheres to and promotes Sidra’s Values

    In view of the evolving needs and opportunities within Sidra, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationships may vary.
Essential Requirements:
 

 

ESSENTIAL

PREFERRED

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field
  • Master’s in Business Management / Administration
                   

Experience

  • 7+ year’s management experience in a related role
  • Demonstrated experience in business development                   
  • Experience working in healthcare environment            

Certification and Licensure

  • Valid professional nursing license in country of origin                
  • Meets licensing requirements of the State of Qatar
